Small Business Calendar Software Testing

One pricey bit of stuff is small business calendar software. I'm looking for one set up that's NOT so pricey, and open source to boot. I think I've got it.

I was on the lookout for some sort of open source shared calendar system.  Looks like I found one, but I ought to install it and play with it before I can say anything.  I’ve got Radicale installed on a server, and will start the configure/dork-with-it process later tonight.  This is supposed to work with Thunderbird Lightning, Android (those two cover my needs), iPhones, and a few other platforms.  We’ll see.

1-7-2012 Update:

I have Radicale up and running so that I can hook up Thunderbird’s Lightning to it, from two different clients.  It’s pretty much a wide open setup though, so until I figure out how to lock it down I’ve shut the server off.  Maybe it’s just been a long week, but I’m floundering awful with the config.

7/25/2012 Update:

Well, it’s done.  I got a secure-er calendar set up on a server of mine and documented the process for you all in an Open Source Calendar Software Tutorial.
